The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced an explosion at one of their headquarters in the East Canal area of Baghdad.
According to initial reports, the organization said the explosion was caused by the explosion of a warehouse containing worn-out and defective ammunition.
So far, there have been no reports of human casualties following the incident, and the cause of the explosion has not been independently confirmed.
