Giant Indian flag hoisted in Jammu and Kashmir on Independence Day

On the eve of the 78th anniversary of India’s independence, the state of Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a grand gathering under the slogan “One Flag in Every House”.

The event, held in the Doda area, featured a giant Indian flag measuring 1,508 meters long, equivalent to the height of a 500-story building.

The event, attended by students, officials, social activists, and local people, was a symbol of national unity and pride.

This giant flag, which was flown in the “Tiranga” parade, was recorded as one of the largest national flags in the history of this region, sending a powerful message of solidarity and national identity to the world.

The ceremony was conducted under the guidance of Ravinder Singh, Deputy Commissioner of the district and was widely appreciated.
