Reacting to Donald Trump’s extension of the ceasefire, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Islamabad welcomed the decision and saw it as an opportunity to strengthen diplomacy.
He added that Pakistan will continue its efforts to reach a negotiated solution to end the conflict.
The Pakistani Prime Minister has also expressed hope that the parties can reach a comprehensive peace agreement that will permanently end tensions and conflicts.
