Ukraine targets several Russian and Crimean oil facilities

Ukrainian and Russian officials announced that Ukrainian forces have used drones to attack several oil facilities on Russian territory and the Crimean peninsula.

The Ukrainian General Staff announced in a statement that its forces had targeted the Krasnodar Krai region of Russia in a nighttime operation, attacking the Grushovaya oil transfer base near the city of Novorossiysk.

The attacks come as the war between Russia and Ukraine continues, with both sides continuing to launch reciprocal attacks on each other’s military and energy infrastructure.

Russian authorities have not yet released full details about the extent of damage and possible casualties from these attacks.
