A massive explosion occurred at a fireworks factory in Esparto, Palo Alto County, California, causing a massive fire and destroying two homes.
According to local American media, the event, which was accompanied by a series of explosions, created thick smoke in the sky over the area and the fire quickly spread over an area of about 10 acres of land.
Officials said the explosive shells were scattered over a distance of half a mile.
California Fire Department (Cal Fire) is on scene and evacuation operations have begun.
Roads around the area remain closed to prevent further danger.
