Pakistani media reports that a vehicle carrying Pakistani soldiers was ambushed by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) fighters in South Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Three Pakistani soldiers, including a senior officer, were killed in the ambush, the media reported.
Meanwhile, TTP-affiliated accounts say that five Pakistani soldiers were killed in the attack.
