Russia launches major attack on Ukraine’s second largest city

The Russian army targeted the city of Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine with drones and missiles.

Ukrainian sources reported this morning, Saturday, June 7, a severe and continuous Russian drone and missile attack on the city of Kharkiv near the Russian border.

Some Ukrainian users have written that Kharkiv is currently witnessing the most intense attack since the start of the war.

According to Ukrainian sources, at least 40 explosions were heard in the city within an hour and a half.

The mayor of Kharkiv also announced that widespread Russian drone attacks on the city center had caused fires and extensive damage.

According to the mayor of the city, a building was targeted in the attack and a number of residents were trapped under the rubble.
