Russian Air Force Strengthened with New Su-34 Fighter Jets
A new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers produced at the United Aircraft Corporation has been delivered to the country’s aerospace forces, the Novosti news agency reported, citing state-owned Rostec Corporation.
Rostec has announced that these aircraft have completed all stages of ground and flight testing and have been sent to service.
Su-34 – Capable of performing fighter and bomber missions and can engage ground, sea, and air targets; the aircraft is also designed for use in adverse weather conditions and in environments with air defense systems.
According to Rostec, the design of the Su-34 continues to be improved using combat experience, and production of new batches of the aircraft continues.
In late September, the Russian United Aircraft Corporation announced the delivery of a shipment of upgraded Su-57 fighter jets to the Russian Aerospace Forces. According to the company, the new Su-57s have also been used in Russian military operations in Ukraine.
