Two-stage Russian attack on shopping mall in Ukraine leaves at least 15 dead, 130 injured
Ukrainian officials say at least 15 people were killed and 130 others injured in a “two-stage” Russian attack on a shopping mall in the city of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, according to reports.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that drones attacked the shopping mall in two waves, with the second attack taking place about half an hour after the first, while the fire was still burning.
According to Zelensky, the second attack targeted rescue workers who were at the scene dealing with the aftermath of the first attack.
The Dnipropetrovsk Provincial Prosecutor’s Office said several children were among the injured; Local officials said at least 29 people were in critical condition and several were missing.
