Pakistan wins Olympic gold medal for first time in 40 years

On Thursday (8th of August), Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal in the javelin throw at the Olympic Games by defeating the defending champion Neeraj Chopra from India. This is the first time that Pakistan has won a gold medal in the Olympic Games since 1984.
