IRGC: Two ships involved in accident on unsafe route through Strait of Hormuz

The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy announced that four ships, which the force said were attempting to pass through an unsafe route by turning off their navigation systems and ignoring warnings from the Strait of Hormuz control base, were met with a response from the force.

According to the statement, two ships encountered accidents on this route and were stopped, and two other ships were discouraged from continuing on the unsafe route.

The IRGC emphasized that control of the Strait of Hormuz is in the hands of its navy, and that the passage of ships is only possible through designated routes and with coordination.

The statement also warned that ships that enter unsafe routes may face the risk of accidents.
