The Islamic Republic of Iran’s army announced this morning that it had targeted three US military bases in Kuwait with destructive drones in the nineteenth phase of Operation “Shine”.
The Army Public Relations Department announced in a statement that the targets of these attacks were administrative buildings and navigation antennas at the Arifjan base, the helicopter parking lot at the Al-Adiri camp, and the troop deployment building at the Ahmed Al-Jaber base.
According to this statement, Arifjan Base is one of the main centers for the deployment of US ground forces and command in the Camp Al-Adiri area, where military helicopters are deployed, and Ahmed Al-Jaber Base is one of the support centers for US air operations and surveillance.
The Iranian military also announced that it carried out the attacks in response to what it called America’s “repeated evils and violations of promises,” claiming that the aim of these actions was to counter threats and restore security to the region.
