The British Maritime Trade Operations Organization (UKMTO) announced a maritime incident near the coast of Oman, stating that a vessel caught fire northwest of the “Kamzar” area.
Based on the agency’s supplementary statement, the shipping company’s security officer confirmed that the ship was damaged by an unidentified projectile.
According to the British Trade Organization, all crew members were successfully evacuated and rescued by a tugboat, but the fire continues and the ship remains adrift.
