Russia’s Northern Fleet held an exercise focused on protecting the country’s military infrastructure and facilities in the Arctic region.
According to the scenario of this exercise, warships of a hypothetical enemy were trying to seize Russian military facilities on one of the islands in the region, and Russian forces trained to counter this threat.
The exercise was held in difficult weather conditions, with snowfall and strong winds blowing at speeds of up to 30 meters per second.
