A member of the political bureau of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement has said that only the Yemeni armed forces and their affiliates are present in the Bab al-Mandab, Dhubab, and al-Mukha regions.
The Ansarullah official claimed that Saudi forces who tried to cross the province of Lahaj this morning were met with resistance from Yemeni forces and their advance was stopped.
He also said that Ansarullah forces have retaken areas near Bab al-Mandab and that a number of Saudi forces’ vehicles have been abandoned in the area.
These statements come at a time when conflicting reports have been published about the situation in the city of Al-Mokha and the extent of the presence of forces affiliated with the conflicting parties in the area, and the details have not been independently confirmed.
