The US State Department has offered a total reward of up to $18 million under the Rewards for Justice program for information about two leaders of the Khorasan branch of ISIS.
According to published information, the United States has announced a reward of up to $8 million for information about Sanaullah Ghaffari, the leader of ISIS Khorasan, also known as “Shahab al-Muhajir.”
The United States has claimed that Ghaffari is responsible for approving ISIS-K operations and providing financial resources for the group’s activities.
A reward of up to $10 million has also been announced for information about Obaidullah, another leader of ISIS Khorasan.
The US State Department says that Obaidullah is responsible for managing financial activities, planning operations, and leading groups carrying out ISIS Khorasan attacks.
