Yahya Saree:Saudi attacks on Yemen reach 3,179; Yemeni forces announce three operations in Saudi territory
Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, announced that Saudi Arabia has carried out 56 attacks on civilian targets in the provinces of Hajjah, Lahj, Amran, Saada, Al-Jawf, Taiz and Ab in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of air and missile attacks since the beginning of the escalation of tensions to 3,179.
Saree also announced the implementation of three military operations deep inside Saudi Arabia using dozens of ballistic missiles. According to him, these operations targeted King Khalid Airfield in Riyadh, the military facilities and centers of King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, and the Border Guard Forces naval base in Jizan.
The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces stated that a number of Saudi soldiers and officers were killed in the attack on the Jizan naval base.
