Russia reports interception of over 1,600 drones near Moscow
Russian officials say that in one of the most widespread drone attacks on Moscow, more than 1,600 drones were intercepted or destroyed, about 450 of which were heading towards the capital.
According to Russian officials, the Moscow oil refinery in the Kaputnia region was damaged and parts of it caught fire following these attacks, and several residential buildings were also damaged.
Moscow authorities reported at least two deaths and the evacuation of about 400 people, including 70 children, from a 21-story building.
At the same time, flight restrictions have been imposed at several Moscow airports.
