Initial reports indicate that Yemeni forces have entered the coastal city of Al-Khokha in Al-Hodeidah Governorate and, after taking control of the city of Hays, have continued their advance on the western coast.
It has also been said that after taking control of the Khalid base, Yemeni forces reached the Al-Nar mountain and clashed with Saudi-affiliated forces; local sources reported Saudi airstrikes around this mountain to prevent Yemeni forces from advancing towards the port of Al-Makha.
At the same time, Sabreen News reported the escape and surrender of a number of Saudi-affiliated forces from the “Al-Yakhtal” region, claiming that Yemeni forces had entered the region and advanced 15 kilometers to the port of Al-Mukha.
Reports have also been published of missile and drone attacks by the Yemeni army on positions of Saudi-affiliated forces in the Al-Mukha region.
A video has also been posted on social media showing Saudi-backed forces fleeing and abandoning heavy weapons on the roads after Yemeni forces entered Al-Khokha.
