The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that Nazimjan Khalmuradov, Head of the Light Industries Development Organization of the Council of Ministers of Uzbekistan, has arrived in Kabul at the head of an official government and private sector delegation consisting of representatives of textile companies from that country.
According to the ministry, the purpose of this trip is to meet and discuss with officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, participate in a business communication conference, and hold bilateral meetings between Afghan and Uzbek businessmen.
According to published information, the Uzbek delegation also visited textile factories and industrial sectors in Balkh and Kunduz provinces during its trip.
