New:Iran declares complete freedom of trade in the Strait of Hormuz for the remaining period of the ceasefire
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi announced that following the announcement of the ceasefire, the passage of all commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz will be completely free for the remaining period of the ceasefire.
He emphasized that this traffic must be carried out on a coordinated and pre-announced route by the Ports and Maritime Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Shortly after this announcement, US President Donald Trump wrote on the social network X: “Iran announced that the Strait of Hormuz is completely open and ready for passage. Thank you.”
