The Indian Ministry of External Affairs strongly condemned the recent airstrikes by the Pakistani military regime on parts of the country.
Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said in a statement that these attacks resulted in the martyrdom of a number of civilians and the destruction of civilian infrastructure.
He emphasized that this action is another example of aggression by Pakistan, which is hostile to the idea of an independent Afghanistan ruling over its own territory.
India reiterated its full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistan and called for an immediate cessation of such hostile actions.
