Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: Transfer of enriched uranium to the US is not an option

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Beqaei rejected media speculation and announced that there is no plan to transfer 60% enriched uranium to the United States.

Baghaei said: “We do not agree with what American officials and their media are saying about the Iranian nuclear issue.”

Emphasizing Iran’s red lines, he added: “The opening and closing of the Strait of Hormuz does not happen in cyberspace, but rather the field determines it, and Iran is the one who determines this issue. Ship traffic will only be carried out on routes determined by Iran and in coordination with the competent authorities.”

The Foreign Ministry spokesman warned that any naval blockade would be considered a violation of the ceasefire and Iran would respond to it. He emphasized that Iran is the guardian of the Strait of Hormuz and will not compromise in implementing measures that guarantee the country’s rights.
