Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani praises 9-year-old genius from Herati, pledges full educational and financial support

Mohammad Amiri, a 9-year-old child living in Herat province, who has so far managed to learn 9 foreign languages without going to formal school and only through the internet, has received the attention and praise of Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

During his meeting with the Minister of Interior, Mohammad Amiri demonstrated his linguistic abilities in action, speaking in several different languages; he announced that he had learned each language in approximately two months.

Caliph Sirajuddin Haqqani described the child as “a rare and exceptional talent of the country” and emphasized that the Islamic Emirate will fully cooperate in the field of education and financial support for him.

During the same meeting, the Minister of Interior presented Mohammad Amiri with 150,000 Afghanis in cash and a laptop, and also promised to hire specialized and exceptional teachers to provide this child with a standard and advanced education.
