According to the ministry’s press release, the suspects had transported these cameras in a 580-type vehicle and intended to transport them from Kandahar province to Nimroz and then smuggle them out of the country.
After initial investigations, the arrested individuals were handed over to the Nimroz Provincial Counter-Terrorism Department to continue the process of additional and judicial investigations in this regard.
This action demonstrates the vigilance of security forces in preventing the smuggling of military and sensitive equipment in the country’s border areas.
