India dispatched two C-17 transport aircraft of its Air Force to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to Venezuela as part of Operation Amistad.
The aid package includes an Indian Army field hospital unit, over 35 tons of relief supplies, medicines and medical equipment, as well as two BHISHM Cube units.
Indian officials have announced that this aid was provided to support the people and government of Venezuela in the wake of the recent earthquakes and to expedite the relief process.
New Delhi has emphasized that it stands by the affected countries in times of natural crises and will continue to provide humanitarian support.
