The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that yesterday (March 14) the army of this country together with the border forces of the security department thwarted the attempt of Ukrainian forces to penetrate into the territory of Belgorod.
Ukrainian soldiers who tried to penetrate into the Belgorod area were hit by Russian artillery and aviation and after suffering significant losses, they began to retreat towards Ukraine.
According to the report of this ministry, Ukrainian losses in the last three days’ unsuccessful attempts to break into Russian territory were more than 1,500 people, 18 tanks and 23 armored combat vehicles.
