Russia announces liberation of Donetsk town, downing of hundreds of drones
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces have taken control of part of the central districts of the town of Veslovye in the Donetsk region as a result of the operation.
The ministry also said that 670 drones and seven guided aerial bombs were shot down in the past 24 hours.
The Russian Defense Ministry also reported that military infrastructure facilities in the port of Chernomorsk, two cargo ships carrying weapons and military equipment for Ukrainian forces, and a naval tugboat were targeted.
According to the ministry, “expensive” drones also targeted a data processing center in Kiev where military equipment was stored.
On the other hand, Alexander Shuvayev, the governor of Belgorod, Russia, said that one civilian was killed and 14 people, including four children, were injured in the blind attacks by Ukrainian forces in the region over the past 24 hours.
