Iranian Army Commander Amir Hatami announced in Tehran on Sunday that anyone who kills an American soldier or captures him and hands him over to an Iranian army unit will receive a cash reward of $30,000.
Hatami also warned in response to US President Donald Trump’s statements about the Strait of Hormuz, saying that joking about this issue would be a “big mistake.”
Stating that Iran has defenders, he has threatened that if they take action against Iran, they will face a response from the country’s forces.
Hatami emphasized that American forces have been effectively expelled from the region and that Iran will not allow them to return to their previous bases.
These statements came after Trump said about the Strait of Hormuz that he would declare this waterway part of American territory.
