Michigan police say five people have been killed and one more injured in a shooting in northern Michigan, and the suspect has been found dead after a search operation.
According to Reuters, police went to a house in the Misawaki area after receiving a report of a shooting and found three bodies and one injured person, who was reported to be in critical condition.
Police identified the suspect as Chad Hickman, 39, and said a massive search operation was launched after he fled. The body of another victim was found in a different location, and Hickman and another person were later found dead in a nearby wooded area.
Police said the motive for the shooting is still unclear and the identities of the victims have not been released.
