Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an interview with the country’s Army Radio, denied a Channel 12 report about his request to Donald Trump to resume attacks on Iran.
Netanyahu said in the interview that under the current circumstances, it is “not appropriate” for the United States or Israel to attack Iran.
Channel 12 previously reported that Netanyahu had asked Trump to resume strikes against Iran before the Israeli and US midterm elections.
These statements come at a time when, based on the report, polls indicate a decline in support for Netanyahu ahead of the Israeli elections.
