The head of the Gaza Strip Rehabilitation Hospital says the number of people who have undergone amputations during the war has reached 8,000, including women and children.
According to him, children account for about 25 percent and women for 12.5 percent of the total.
This increase has occurred at a time when Gaza’s health sector is facing a severe shortage of medical equipment and specialized teams.
