Interior Minister of Pakistan:The current system of governance has collapsed
Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has declared that the country’s current system of governance has “collapsed and is no longer capable of addressing national challenges;” he called for sweeping administrative reforms and the creation of new administrative departments.
Naqvi said at an economic summit in Islamabad that Pakistan’s problems cannot be solved with the current structure and warned that if this situation continues, the country will face similar challenges even in the next ten years.
The Pakistani Interior Minister emphasized that to improve governance, some powers should be delegated to lower levels and new administrative divisions should be created in the form of provinces or similar structures.
