Qatar Embassy in Kabul hosts meeting to review future of Afghanistan’s relations with the international community

The Qatari Embassy in Kabul announced that it hosted a specialized meeting (roundtable) yesterday on the future of Afghanistan’s relations with the international community and ways to strengthen these relations.

According to the statement, Ambassador Georgette Gagnon, Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) and Special Assistant to the Secretary-General for Political Affairs, along with Scott Smith, attended the meeting.

Zakir Jalali and Abdul Hai Qanet also participated in the talks from Afghanistan.

According to the Qatari embassy, ​​the main focus of this meeting was to review the future of Afghanistan’s relations with the international community and seek solutions to support and strengthen these relations.

Participants emphasized the importance of continuing constructive dialogue, expanding mutual cooperation, and providing opportunities for greater interaction between Afghanistan and the international community.
