Germany is considering increasing deportation flights for Afghan citizens

After technical discussions with officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the German government is considering increasing deportation flights for Afghan citizens accused of committing crimes; a measure that could increase the deportation process to a regular rate of up to three flights per month.

German media have reported that at least 100 Afghan citizens who have received deportation orders are currently being held in prisons or immigration detention centers in the country.

According to these reports, the aim of this plan is to expedite the process of returning people whose immigration cases have been finalized and who have been issued deportation orders.

Officials from Germany and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan have not yet released further details on this matter.
