China’s Ministry of Commerce announced on Monday ( 22th of June 2026) that it has added 10 American companies to the export control list based on the country’s export control law and regulations on dual-use items.
The ministry’s statement said that this action was taken to protect China’s national security and interests, as well as to implement international obligations, including non-proliferation.
China’s Ministry of Finance has also announced that it has banned the purchase of products from 46 American companies, including Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, in the context of government contracts and tenders.
With this decision, the total number of American companies subject to China’s new restrictions and sanctions has reached 56.
