Trump: Iran deal will be very strong and solid

US President Donald Trump announced during a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi that the agreement with Iran would be “very strong and robust.”

Trump claimed that Iran would never obtain a nuclear weapon and described the agreement as “a very strong deal.” He also stated that the full details of the agreement have not yet been made public.

The US President added that, in his view, failure to reach an agreement with Iran could have had widespread negative consequences for the global economy and even increased the likelihood of a global recession.

He also claimed that the Strait of Hormuz has been partially reopened and will be fully opened within the next two days.

Trump said that after this understanding, financial market indices have grown and fuel prices have also decreased.

He emphasized that the memorandum of understanding with Iran does not include any financial payments from the United States to Iran, but Washington will not prevent other countries from investing in Iran.

The US President further clarified that this agreement has not yet been finalized and added that if Iran does not adhere to Washington’s commitments, other options will still be on the table.
