American media have reported that US President Donald Trump has held a consultative meeting with the country’s national security team on Iran.
This meeting is being held at a time when Iran is emphasizing its principled positions and red lines and considers Washington’s demands to be imposed and excessive.
At the same time, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, wrote in a message on the X network that there is no alternative but to accept the rights of the Iranian people according to the 14-article proposal.
Ghalibaf has warned that any other approach will be fruitless and that delaying the resolution of the issue will impose further costs on American taxpayers.
