Trump accused of retaliatoryly denying reporters access to the White House
The news networks Cianan and MS Now, and the news website Politico, have expanded their lawsuit against the Donald Trump administration, accusing the White House of retaliatingly restricting the access of these media outlets’ reporters to the president due to critical news coverage.
According to a report by Sianan, these three media outlets say that the Trump administration is continuing to restrict the press by preventing their reporters from boarding Air Force One and some parts of the White House. They consider these actions to be a violation of the First and Fifth Amendments to the United States Constitution.
The expansion of this lawsuit comes after a federal judge previously issued an order restoring media access to the White House. The Trump administration has objected to this process and has not yet responded to the media’s new request to end the restrictions.
