Turkey’s TRT network has reported that analysts believe US President Donald Trump is trying to end the conflict with Iran before his trip to Beijing next week.
Analysts believe that Trump wants to ensure maximum leverage of US pressure and show that the Iran crisis is managed before starting negotiations with China.
The report states that Trump does not want to enter into talks with Xi Jinping while the United States is still facing the costs of war and the possible consequences of blocking the Strait of Hormuz.
TRT added that Trump’s presence in Beijing while tensions with Iran continue could put the United States in a position of weakness and vulnerability.
