Mullah Baradar meets with British special envoy in Kabul
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Economic Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with British Special Representative for Afghanistan Richard Lindsay in Kabul.
In this meeting, the two sides exchanged views on strengthening coordination and expanding cooperation between Afghanistan and the international community, especially the continuation of British humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan.
Referring to the improvement in the country’s economic situation, Mullah Baradar said that the economic situation has improved compared to the past and that Afghanistan’s economic cooperation with regional and neighboring countries has also expanded.
Meanwhile, the British Special Representative expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the recent Pakistani attacks and stressed the continued humanitarian assistance of the British government and people to Afghanistan.
