The Russian Ministry of National Defense announced that on Friday, April 24, 2026, it returned 193 of its prisoners of war from Ukrainian territory and handed over the same number of Ukrainian prisoners in return.
According to the announcement, the exchange was carried out within the framework of agreements between the two sides and included soldiers detained during the ongoing conflict.
