Threefold increase in the right of passage through the canal Panama
The Financial Times reported that the Panama Canal transit fee has increased dramatically, from around $130,000 to $385,000, and in some cases has even been recorded at up to $4 million.
According to the report, rising tensions and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz have increased demand for alternative routes, and as a result, the cost of global energy transportation has also been on an upward trend.
