Iraqi Shiite armed group unveils underground drone city, ready to defend Iran

A Shiite armed group in Iraq has released a video, revealing for the first time its advanced underground facility called “Drone City.”

The video, which was released by channels close to the group, shows dozens of suicide drones and identification of production lines, ammunition depots, control rooms, and vast underground tunnels. The drones are mainly of the Shahed-136 type and localized models with different ranges.

The group’s spokesman emphasized in the video: “We are ready to enter the field as part of the resistance front and defend Iranian soil in the event of any aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. This drone city is only part of our defense capability.”

This unveiling comes at a time when tensions between Iran and the United States and Israel are at their highest level, and Iraqi resistance groups have repeatedly stated that they will target American bases in Iraq and the region if Iran is attacked.

So far, no Iraqi or American official has responded to the video, but its release is seen as part of psychological warfare and a show of strength by the resistance.
