Trump: Only a few minor differences remain, Witkoff to meet Putin next week

US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that negotiations to reach a peace agreement in the Ukraine war have reached their final stages, with only a few minor differences remaining.

Referring to the significant progress in these negotiations, Trump emphasized that the initial 28-point plan proposed by Washington was merely a roadmap and has now been completed and finalized with the direct participation of Moscow and Kiev.

The US President also revealed that Steve Witkoff, the US special envoy for Ukraine, will travel to Moscow next week to meet directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin to review and finalize the final parts of the peace plan.

Trump also did not rule out the possibility of ceding some disputed territories to Russia as part of the final agreement, considering it part of a realistic solution to end the conflict.
