The Hague Criminal Court begins collecting evidence of crimes committed by the Rapid Reaction Forces in Fasher

The International Criminal Court (ICC) Office of the Prosecutor announced in a statement that urgent measures are being taken to collect evidence of crimes committed by the Rapid Reaction Forces (RSF) in the city of Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state in Sudan, so that the perpetrators can be prosecuted.

The Rapid Reaction Forces have admitted that some members of the force committed crimes after capturing the area.

At the same time, videos published on social media show the widespread massacre of civilians by these forces.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague is the first permanent international court to prosecute crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and sexual assault. Its headquarters are in The Hague, Netherlands.

It is worth noting that the Court’s investigations are continuing with the aim of identifying and prosecuting the perpetrators of these crimes
