Ukraine targets Russian chemical plant with Storm missiles

Ukrainian armed forces penetrated deep into Russian territory using British-supplied long-range Storm Shadow missiles and targeted a key chemical plant in Bryansk Oblast.

According to a statement from the Ukrainian military, the “extensive” combined attack included Storm Shadow air-launched missiles (known as Scalp in France) that managed to bypass Russian air defense systems.

The Bryansk Chemical Plant, which produces explosives powder and rocket fuel components, is considered a critical facility for Moscow and was previously sanctioned by the United States and Britain.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it had shot down 57 Ukrainian drones in the skies over Bryansk over the past four hours, but made no mention of a missile attack.
