A delegation from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan left for Doha, Qatar, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, to hold talks with Pakistan, the country’s national television quoted Defense Ministry sources as saying.

According to sources, Mawlavi Muhammad Yaqub Mujahid, Minister of Defense, and Abdul Haq Wasiq, Head of the Emirate’s Intelligence, are key members of this delegation.

Meanwhile, Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, National Security Advisor and ISI Chief General Asim Malik are heading to Doha today to hold talks on extending the 48-hour ceasefire and ending border clashes in the Qatari capital.
