Russia claims to be advancing on all fronts in Ukraine

Russian Armed Forces Chief of Staff General Valery Grasimov said on Wednesday that Russian forces were advancing on all fronts in Ukraine.

During a visit to his forces’ positions, he emphasized that significant progress had been made in the Donetsk (Zaporizhzhya) and Dnipropetrovsk (Dnipropetrovsk) regions and that the enemy had not been able to stop these advances.

“Our forces are advancing in almost all directions in special military operations,” Gerasimov was quoted as saying by the Russian Defense Ministry.

He added that the heaviest fighting was taking place in the direction of Krasnoarmeysk (the Soviet name for the city of Pokrovsk), where Ukraine, deploying its best artillery, was making an unsuccessful attempt to stop Russia, regardless of casualties.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Russia’s recent attacks have not made any progress
