Hezbollah Representative: Disarming the Resistance is Impossible and We Will Not Allow Civil War

Ali Ammar, Hezbollah’s representative in the Lebanese parliament, firmly declared in an interview with Al-Manar Network that Hezbollah’s weapons can only be taken away by divine will, and considered any attempt to disarm the group illegitimate.

He emphasized: Disarming the resistance is only possible by taking the lives of all its fighters, and no one can impose it by force.

Referring to the continued Israeli occupation and aggression against Lebanon, Ammar called Hezbollah’s weapons legitimate and warned that the resistance would not allow this issue to lead to civil war.

He also condemned the efforts of some internal movements to create a confrontation between the Lebanese army and Hezbollah, saying, “Those who seek division between the army and the resistance are living in illusions, and such a thing will never happen.”

These statements were made following the approval of the Lebanese Army’s plan to monopolize weapons in the hands of the government, which was interpreted as disarming Hezbollah.

This plan has faced strong opposition from Hezbollah and the Amal movement and has intensified political tensions in Lebanon.
